WRT610N ignoring static dns after variable periods of time

Description
Anywhere from five minutes to an hour after rebooting the router my WRT610N begins ignoring my static dns. It should be using 4.2.2.3 and 4.2.2.2, but after this variable period it goes back to using my ISP's default dns servers. My router had been rebooting constantly pre 5/1/2009 build, but it seems to be relatively stable now with only the 2.4 radio on and dialed back to 23mw, but these losses of static dns seem to be occurring on periods equivalent to these previous reboots.

Did you not read my description? My ISP supplies a dns, quite standard behavior, however I used the static dns fields on the setup page to set my network's static dns's to 4.2.2.2 and 4.2.2.2. After a bit of time, however, the systems on the network start resolving from the ISP's servers, not the ones set on the router...

Do you have specified "strict-order" to DNSMasq options at services -page? Without that the DNS servers are used in random order and if you have not filled all DNS server entries then router gets ISP ones to these.

if no isp dns is given, how could the router the isp dns. seems to be a config problem. if the router does not know any isp dns its impossible that it can be used. so it must be still in your config and will be used as failover
