G only mode doesn't work with WRT300N router with 12188

Description
When I put my WRT300N in G mode only, it stops broadcasting any wireless signal. I cannot pick it up on my laptop (with a B/G Realtek card) or on my Asus 520GU which is a WDS client to the WRT300N. When I put it into mixed mode, the signal is back and everything works. Since I have no N wireless clients, I wanted to put the router into G only mode.

I think this was related to the need to save before applying the change? Not sure, but I have it running in G mode now. Sorry and thanks.
