Description
Any chance of getting support for the WGT634U? It's very similar to the ASUS 500g premium?

Hi,
I also have this router next to my wrt54g and I might be able to support u guys to get dd-wrt running on it. I have access to a serial console and also the possibility to change the wlan card to a bcm 4306. I think I'm not the only one who's interested in it.
all the best, toss

i really want to get ddwrt running cause i can't figure out openwrt which is the only one out there i could find that works on it. I need a GUI. Is it possible to install the madwifi drivers in ddwrt so you can put any of those wifi cards in (including the one it came with) I'd really like to run two wifi cards. one in the mini-pci and one in the USB port and one connects to a wifi network in client mode, and the other re-broadcasts that network under a different ssid with a different wpa key. wonder how...

Having DD-WRT on this router would rock!!!
(I looks like specific build just needs to be made? It looks like madwifi is now in SVN soooo... ?)
Using OpenWrt/FreeWrt? on it is painful.
As DD-WRT's gui is soooo much better than X-Wrt!!!!

yep, WGT634U would rock with dd-wrt. the USB also add more features to it.

We can add support, but not for Atheros radio. It will work wired only. Or if you replace radio with Broadcom, then it should work wireless too.
