Description (last modified by iVitor)
Router Buffalo WHR-G300N with build 12533 (had build 12427 with same issue)
Settings to replicate the issue
- Set "Wireless Channel" to 13 (or 12)
- Set "Channel Width" to 40 Mhz
("Wide Channel" set to lower)
Problem
Go to "Status"->"Wireless" and the Wireless Channel is set to 1, despite the settings being for 13.
The wireless utility of the test card (RaUI for a RT61 based card) reports the wireless network to be indeed at Channel 1.

Oh, I was seeing the configuration of "Wide Channel" in a different way.. Sorry about that.
Any chance of removing those invalid channels from the drop box upon selection of the 40Mhz channel width?

which is absolutelly correct. 13 is a invalid setting for 40 mhz, consider that 40 mhz will use a range of 8 channels since each channel has 5 mhz spacing.
