Linksys WRT610N unable to set settings via web interface

Description
For whatever reason my Linksys WRT610N will work fine with Linksys firmware, however when I load DD-WRT it appears that the web part of DD-WRT will not let me save or apply any settings, or do anything that results in a POST form submission (such as navigating which WAN connection type my internet is on the Setup page). On rare occasion it will work for a few settings. Then stop working a few minutes later resulting in blank pages or connection resets (with any .cgi page). I have tried DD-WRT a few months ago and had the same issue, reverted back to Linksys firmware. I've tried almost everything I've seen on the forums regarding resetting the NVRAM. But even after super-hard resets (waiting much longer than 30 seconds for each step with 30/30/30) it still results in getting blank pages.
I am able to set setting fine via telnet, however this is impractical for me as I lack the knowledge to make this useful and would rather use a GUI either way. I have noticed that when ever I enter "nvram commit" that this shows "nvram_commit(): end". I don't know why its showing though, it has been a constant.

Can you get a dump of the text output on the serial port?

Disregard that last comment, I just read you had telnet access. Is your equipment under load when you try to access the web pages? As a last ditch method of trying to reset to defaults you could tftp stock linksys firmware to your unit.I have a wap54 that exhibited similar characteristics (no web access, mine did not have telnet on at the time to know if that still worked.) Using the serial output I was able to determine that the reset button did not actually work. I was able to flash dd-wrt firmware over tftp multiple times but it took stock linksys firmware to reset to defaults. I watched the linksys firmware boot up, error reading dd-wrt settings, then flash defaults. I am unsure of the command to set defaults to the nvram over telnet/ssh.

I've tried that before but it always just likes to give me blank pages. I'll try a more recent build.

Since people keep incessantly pointing at browsers on the forums I might as well put this here.
I have used both IE and Firefox and gotten the same results with both browsers.
