Description (last modified by tatsuya46)
This issue has been here since DD-WRT supported this router, torrenting will cause the router to hang, goes as short as 30 seconds and as long as 4 hours then the LAN led suddenly slows to 1 flash per 2-3 seconds and the router doesn't respond to anything, reboot is the only option. Tried many TCP/UDP timeout and max port settings ranging from 60/60/4096 to 300/3600/65535 nothing helps. Sometimes the router hangs with 44% free RAM and sometimes it hangs with 60% free RAM. I have noticed shortly after starting to torrent the LAN led will start to stutter like its about to hang then smooth out again, after it does this free RAM usually drops by over 5%.
SPI firewall when enabled, even with all features of it disabled, causes huge latency spikes every few minutes, constant ping timeouts with IRC, and decreases WIFI throughput by alot, disable SPI firewall and those 3 issues go away.
No changes with any software on my end and official FW will not give those issues. Hope these are fixable.
UPDATE: Using WIFI to torrent lasts much longer before hanging, up to twice as long as wired.. whats that about? Since the router is 1 foot from my PC i'd like to use wired for many reasons.
