WRT160Nv3 CLIENT BRIDGE SHOWING INCOMPATIBLE CONNECT SPEED WHEN NOT CONNECTED

Description
I'm using a WRT160Nv3 (client bridge) running build FIRMWARE-dd-wrt.v24-13575_NEWD-2_K2.6_mini_wrt160nv3. It will run fine for a much as a couple of days, but occassionally the router's wireless Light will be flashing once per second (disconnected from the wireless network), the SYS-INFO page will show the client router CONNECTED at 300 mbps with TX=0 and RX=0 (in other words, no packets sent nor received) and a wireless channel that my network is NOT using. This router is only capable of 270 Mbps and I normally get 243). (If I reboot the router it will post properly and connect with no problem.) I'm running it as pure N only with WEP security. May I suggest that you remove the 300 Mbps from that router's possible connect speeds. Basic rate set to default, MIMO set to Auto, Transmission Fixed Rate set to Auto.

Found it. Next time wait for replies before making bug tickets and link to the thread when you do.

Do you have a forum thread about this? You should post there before creating tickets. When you say that it is connected, does the MAC address of your AP show up in the AP&Clients section and if so then what's the SNR? IIRC client/repeater modes will state the maximum possible link rate and random channels that they're scanning for the SSID when they're not connected.
N spec does not allow WEP security. Note that dd-wrt does allow any security method, but that it is needed to support mixed mode so that N spec and A/B/G can coexist with different encryption via virtual wireless interfaces.
