I can't enable USB from Android or Windows mobile

Description
When I lose my WDS-connection after the router has gone into a factory reset, I can only reach it using my HTC HD2. It has Windows Mobile and Android. With neither OS I can change the USB-settings. Pressing 'Save' or 'Apply Settings' will give the message that the connection is reset.
I don't think it has anything to do with WiFi?. Other settings work fine.
