Description
a really strange problem. I have 1 win7 pc, 1 XP and 1 Ubuntu 11.04 connected by tp-link 1043nd on ddwrt firmware 17201. All ok until I upgraded Ubuntu to version 11.10. Now when I use ubuntu 11.10, the wlan disappears after a short time and is no longer accessible from any computer until you restart the router. I made many tests and the problem never occurs with the Microsoft clients, but every time I use ubuntu 11.10, the wlan disappears shortly and wireless is no longer accessible by any client until you reboot the router. I do not know whether it is the fault of the ubuntu 11.10 wireless driver or ddwrt 17201, but I thought it proper to report the issue.
