Users has already loaded other dd-wrt TP-Link builds onto them successfully but without working USB port so there is now a need for a build supporting USB and 3G since these routers are 3G routers.
You're right, would be great to have even the 3g also for TP-LINK MR3020 MR3220

Some additional info: The MR-3420 has had different circuit boards over time but always the same SOC and wifi chip and always the same memory specs. The latest version, v1.2, uses the same pcb as WR842NDv1, the only difference between them is the flash size.
The MR-3220 is the same router but with 1T1R AR9285 instead of 2T2R AR9287 in MR-3420.
Users has already loaded other dd-wrt TP-Link builds onto them successfully but without working USB port so there is now a need for a build supporting USB and 3G since these routers are 3G routers.
