enable IPv6 for ralink devices (d-link DIR-615 D)

Description
I'm currently using build 18007 and tried to enable IPv6 using the guide in Wiki. After some investigation I found that IPv6 does not seem to be enabled for the whole build.
As this gets more and more important, I wonder why?

I am sorry but I only partly agree with you LOM. Although there is no room for IPv6 in standard 4MB Atheros or Ralink builds, there does exist what to be taken off in order to compile them with IPv6. They may produce different builds with less daemons so that they make IPv6 support. Think of chillispot, wifidog, snmp daemon, splashd, all of these free up to 500 kilobytes archived space from rootfs when removed. People who need IPv6 will download builds from different folder and it will be known that what does include IPv6 support does not include other apps. Only willingness is what may be missing here.

IMHO the whole Hotspot and Ad Network section is unneeded for the casual user...
I know it's apples and oranges, but some Tomato builds have ipv6 in 4MB flash, too.

That chillispot, wifidog, anchorfree, etc stuff seems to be some kind of ads. They might be receiving something to keep that stuff there.

facsi: dd-wrt cannot receive anything from projects that are first, non-commercial and open-source, and second, old like earth and having no support since 2005-2007. Wifidog was retired one or two years later and nothing since then.
Anyway - let's stick to the ticket topic because the tracker is not a forum. My suggestion is: build_directory/ containing usual firmwares for atheros/ralink devices build_directory/ipv6 containing firmwares packed with ipv6 support while missing hotspot systems and/or snmpd which is also half a megabyte.

I second this idea, let us have 2 directories, one regular and one stripped down from hotspot/snmpd with ipv6 support :)
