In administration is selected this parameters but don't work.

are you sure that your browser cookie is not fooling you? because it works here in my tests

I can ACK is observation: I enabled info_passwd=1 via GUI (I was obviously logged in ;)). After enablering I was not able to get after the htaccess password dialog. I also cleared all cookies and tried again ... I tried to log in as "root", as usual.

After reverting the change this I was able to log in again: root@wrt:~# nvram set info_passwd=0 root@wrt:~# nvram commit nvram_commit(): end

I use 2.4 rc 6.2 generic on a Asus 500 in this casse.
