20/40 mhz channel option

rc6 no longer has the 20/40 mhz channel option. for some reason i can not get my router to function properly unless i set it to 20 mhz channel. please bring this back = - (... i know the 40 mhz channel does not work, but it is the only option my wireless router gives me wireless access. thanks for your time. my router wrt150n v1.1... had to revert to rc5 which has these 20/40 mhz options...
