ipkg is just wrong on x86
| Reported by: | dicksons | Owned by: | somebody |

Description
Problems :
1) ipkg.conf points to the wrong architecture of packages
2) ipkg.conf can be edited
could you please make this (and any other config text files) editable like you've done for some of the others like nocat and crond ?

this is a pretty basic thing, and not real difficult to program.
if ipkg stays on the x86 build, make it workable.
else, remove the executable from /bin and the .conf from /etc, so that it can be made workable independently in /usr/local by people who for some insane reason want to add commands to linux.
also the etiquette of closing/deleting trac tickets anonymously is absurd on a project of this stature.

ipkg is not supported on x86

No. Use some other third-party firmware...
