put in any working softether config, works fine, connects to internet. reboot the router, the vpn stops working, and login to the softether vpn manager for windows doesnt accept the password all of a sudden. upon every reboot i have to recreate the server config all over again, even with the exact same settings, passwords etc..

the processes also have high cpu usage even when no devices are connected & the entire router is idle, over 3% with a ipq8065

also when doing anything with the router even with no vpn devices connected, softether goes ridiculous on cpu over 16% on a ipq8065 when pushing a basic 5 mbps of LAN traffic..?

400 mbps+ from lan -> wifi has dropped to <220 mbps once softether is on, dont matter if its idle, long as any softether process is running, everything is slow. yet while transferring cpu has about 55% idle... (softether eating over 20% during this time)

if i add

  • sleep 15

vpncmd localhost:443 /SERVER /PASSWORD: /CMD ConfigSet? tmpvpn_server.config

to start up command, while softether config is filled in, it works fine after reboot. vpn config tool also connects fine.

some race condition here..?
