wget doesn't support SSL

Description

wget does not accept SSL/HTTPS links over telnet/SSH and gives out the following message:

wget: not an http or ftp url: <url>

it is normal... for httpS you must use curl...

This ticket is regarding the lack of SSL support on wget which exists on newer wget builds.

edit: curl fails to download over HTTPS with an error 0 with -k. The file I was testing to download was: https://download1.dd-wrt.com/dd-wrtv2/downloads/betas/2017/06-01-2017-r32170/broadcom/dd-wrt.v24_mini_generic.bin
