rFlow interface select

Reported by: merlinzeta Owned by: somebody

Description

This also exists in v24 SP1.

Cannot select the interface 'LAN' under the rFlow/MACupd area. If I select 'LAN' then save, it reverts to the interface 'WAN'.

Thanks

maybe thats because you just have one ethernet port like on some devices available. i rechecked it on a standard router right now which has a 4 lan ports and one wan port. it works without any problems. but some devices like the nanostations have just one ethernet port which works for both. in general its usefull just to select LAN & WLAN which is the interface for br0 (its the bridge for the wireless and lan interface)

Sorry, I should have mentioned that this was on a x86 (PIII) machine with two ethernet cards and no wireless.

I was wanting to select LAN only as I thought that may solve a problem I have with rFlow where my netflow receptor (Solarwinds Orion) can only see the downlink on the LAN interface when LAN/WLAN is selected in the router. There may be something wrong with my end so I didn't want to raise it as a ticket yet.

Is there any more info that I could give you?

Thanks as always.
