writing large files to SD-card makes router reboot... maybe problems with too large write cache, maybe also with implementation of mmc module in dd-wrt...
hardware: WRT54G v2.0, 32MB RAM, not overclocked. dd-wrt v24 sp1
writing files larger than 5MB (dd if=/dev/zero of=...) leads to reboot of the router without any error messages on serial console. Hardware is fine, writing 100MB-Files at excelent speeds works with different firmware (tomato mod http://gemini.net.pl/~slodki/tomato-sdhc.html)

there is a reworked version of the mmc module available in the tomato repository giving SDHC support... http://repo.or.cz/w/tomato.git?a=blob;f=release/src/router/mmc/mmc.c;hb=tomato-sdhc
