when selecting "mixed" for "wireless network mode", the 5ghz radio (wl1) lock down to the 2.4 ghz band. making the AP inaccessable to any clients operating in the 5ghz band. Channel selection is also locked at channels 1 ~ 14. Selecting NA-Only will not allow A clients to associate with the AP. Selecting A-only will allow both A & N clients to associate but all clients are then limited to 54mbs including N clients.
Suggest adding another wireless network mode option for NA-ONLY-MIXED which would mean that the radio is set in the 5ghz band and either A or N clients can associate and N clients would not have their speed limited to 54mbs if no A clients are active.
Stock linksys firmware only allows wl1 to operate in the 5ghz range. Selecting mixed allows both A & N clients to associate and speed on the N clients is not limited to 54mbs.
